Plastic Egg Painting (and washing)

One activity L and E absolutely adore is painting their plastic toys and animals and then giving them a bath.  This week we switched things up a bit by painting plastic Easter eggs.

The girls painted their eggs with a lot of concentration and then gave them 'nice warm baths' in a tray of water (I supplied little sponges for scrubbing and squeezing water over their eggs).

This is a great activity to do with younger kids because they are more focused on the process of painting than the end result, and setup/cleanup was really easy compared to using real eggs.
