Homeschool Preschool - Week 19 & 20
L and H are almost 3.5 years old. After a long holiday break, we're getting back into our Homeschool Preschool routine. Some days are definitely better than others. Even on the more frustrating days where I feel that the kids watched too much TV and didn't learn anything, looking back I still see that there was plenty of learning going on. The girls always see me taking photos of our activities, so they've been asking for their own cameras to take pictures as well. Here's what we've been up to...

Homeschool Preschool Week 7
We were on vacation last week, so this week involved recovering from the vacation (laundry, cleaning, getting back on a routine). We ended up doing a lot of learning activities, but most of them were ad-hoc things I came up with or games that we hadn't played with in a while. Here are some of the things we did..

Homeschool Preschool Week 3
L and E (37 months) have just completed their 3rd week for "Homeschool Preschool". We're still trying to stick with a daily routine, but it's become a lot more flexible. There are days when they clearly want to play without me, so I let them play while I get some work done. Other days, L will refuse to call me "Mommy", just "Teacher" and both girls beg for their activity boxes. We just go with the flow.. Homeschool Preschool Curriculum - 2012 / 2013 School Year
I realize that Preschoolers don't really need a "homeschool curriculum" - they just need to play and explore the world! That's exactly what we're going to do this year. The curriculum is really just for me to organize fun activities and games in a well-rounded fashion. I figure that if my twins (just turned three) are receptive to activities that teach Kindergarten-level skills, why not go for it? I always follow their lead and never force them to complete anything. Here's our 'curriculum':
