Going on Safari

Today I put the girls' stuffed animals all around the house and invited them to take pictures of 'wild animals' with their kid-friendly digital cameras...

This activity was not only a lot of fun for the kids, but it also kept the girls busy for quite a while so I could get my work done.   They're still learning how to take good photographs.  When we looked through the pictures they had taken, they were so close up that it became an entertaining game to try to guess which animal they had taken a picture of (a kangaroo's eye, an elephant's ear, etc..).

Nothing beats going on safari in your own living room in your pajamas!  And where else can you go on safari and see the elusive sweater-wearing dog in her natural habitat?
